Eliminating poverty can only be done if the whole community gets involved, says the new leader of EndPovertyEdmonton.
Erick Ambtman, who will start his new position as the group’s new executive director next week, said poverty isn’t just a problem for the non-profits and social services to solve, and hopes EndPovertyEdmonton will be able to work more closely with developers, employers, government, police and other businesses, who all have a role to play.
